Describe the brief from the client
Create a new logo for the Frida Kahlo Museum.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
Take Mexican elements of several ethnic groups to be merged with Frida’s, reflecting how proud the artist was about being Mexican.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Frida Kahlo Museum’s new graphic image succeeded in obtaining a different and bold identity. More than a great painter, the new image positions Frida as a global Mexican brand. From now on, she doesn't only represent Mexican art, she now represents, through colours and shapes, Mexico as a whole country.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The new identity and logo had great acceptance with Mexicans. They immediately noticed the representative elements of their culture. We have had little time in running this new identity, but there have been several awards for this new image.
