Describe the challenges and key objectives
After six years of doing business as JEH United and people saying “where’s your website? why don’t you have a website? Oh, you don’t have a website!” people are expecting some slick site from But because we zig when others zag, we’re going to disappoint them in grand funny style.

Describe the brief from the client
JEH United is a Bangkok-based ad agency that regularly wins industry golds, but strangely has never had a website or business cards.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Thai people like to poke fun. At first glance, people who visit our website think that we are a traveling agency, complete with bad lip synch and destination data. Only when they click on the logo or “Contact Us” does the facade fall away. We even went so far as to have some business cards made. JEH staffers use their personal email accounts for work as much as the company email. We celebrate this commitment to the cause (and also make sure they can always be reached) by listing their personal email addresses and cell numbers on the card.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Clients, creatives, and basically anyone who is interested, can get to know us better and join our proudly Thai family. When we asked our new account gains what initially led them to approach us, our three biggest Thai clients said it was the website which convinced them JEH United understands the Thai market best.
