In the week following Donald Trump's surprise victory in the 2016 US presidential election, M Le magazine du Monde commissioned artist James Joyce to create an iconic cover that would echo the sentiment among many that the US and the world face an uncertain political future, with potentially disastrous consequences under a Trump presidency.
The cover feature examines Trump's unique presidential campaign and why it was successful despite it's extreme policies, his lack of political experience and a series of controversies that would easily have destroyed other candidates.
