The Hoshi Award is a literary award celebrating scientific creativity. Our design expressed the bountiful imagination of scientific thinking. We formed a simple graphic inspired by the movement of various objects and arranged them to represent a beautiful world of science. The arrangement became the award’s identity.
The design was subsequently employed for use on various promotional materials. On the official website and SNS, 30 short animations were released to further communicate the worldview of this award. One animation was uploaded everyday during the application period of one month. This attempt successfully established a closer connection between the award and the applicants working on their submissions.
