Describe the challenges and key objectives
Newspaper subscribers are people used to reading. With this in mind, bookmarks were created to remind that there is another way of enjoying a good book. This way, the design of the bookmarks transformed any book into a dialogue balloon, like the ones in comic books.

Describe the brief from the client
O Globo newspaper wanted to promote its new collection of Audio books to its readers.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The most important thing was to characterise the bookmark so it would be immediately recognised as a dialogue balloon. To accomplish this we made the layout as close as it is drawn in comic books - white, with a black line around it.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
O Globo’s Audiobook collection was a big success, bringing the newspaper even closer to its readers. To this day, O Globo still receives requests for more bookmarks.
