Describe the challenges and key objectives
How to connect the clients to the Rio de Janeiro mood besides the place decoration with photos and other memorabilia? How to bring all the feeling of samba, bossa nova, football and the beach to the clients hands in a informal and light way as a background for the Rio de Janeiro style treats.

Describe the brief from the client
To redesign a menu to a bar/pub in São Paulo city in Brazil that pays homage to the Rio de Janeiro city and its way of life.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The approach was to incorporate the way of life of Rio to the pages of the menu. Samba in its roots, bossa nova, football and the beach are pictured in a way that dishes and treats to be served have a real purpose to be there. The decision to make different graphics to every page was made to bring a better interaction between clients and the menu, making a better flow to them find new discoveries in the menu.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The attendance has almost doubled in regular days and packed during sunny weekends. Also dishes that had almost been taken out by the kitchen chef are now selling high!
