Describe the brief from the client
Create an invitation for the opening of the Hotel Caesar Business in Manaus. Even though the hotel is in the business class category and not a 5-star hotel, the client needed the invitation to have a sophisticated appeal to spark interest in the event, since corporate events tend to have lower attendance than social events. We also needed to use the Amazon region as inspiration without being cliché.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
Increase the brand identity, using sensorial design.
These marketing pieces create delight, appreciation and the desire to share them with others. We believe that with this concept we can reach more people without using additional raw materials.
1,000 people may receive it and probably 4,000 will enjoy it.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Using the notion of sustainability and departing from the obvious imagery from the Amazon (such as toucans, parrots, rivers, etc) we decided to use tilapia skin since it is an ecologically correct material that is dyed with natural products. The paper used here was a FSC–certified paper. After harvesting, these forests are reseeded.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
We produced 1,000 invitations and 600 people attended the event.
