Describe the brief from the client
The client used to be a musician himself so the briefing was to create an outstanding brand for a music manager, well-known in the scene, but new to the business.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
The new brand should fit the personality of the company's founder: a former member of one of the most important Austrian punk bands of the last 10 years. The challenge of this interesting process was to find a way to illustrate his passion for music and musicians.

Describe how you arrived at the final design

Our personal aim was to keep it very simple and to produce pieces where everything works together. The design has to tell you something about the music business: from the visual concept to the way it feels in one’s hands. We created a very strong, bold logotype, that by using laser technology, appears in a fine and precious way. Material is a special matter of concern for this project, so we decided to use vinyl. Vinyl directly expresses ‘music’ and musicians have the goal to record on vinyl. Therefore, when RBBR passes you a vinyl, it's like saying: ‘hey let’s get you there!’.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
RBBR is already well-established on the music scene, calling national musicians and international companies like Red Bull his clients. RBBR is managing the international Red Bull Records Program – For more information visit www.rbbr.net.
