Describe the brief from the client
We were celebrating our first anniversary on the 14th of February 2012. We had to invite all the media houses to attend, but most importantly, we decided to invite a few key clients who already had their own agencies. We wanted to make a statement since we had recently revamped, and taken on some experienced people from a renowned agency.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
We were sure that the media would come out in full force.
The challenge was to get prospective clients to attend the party.
- Why would they, when they already had their agencies.
- Why would they take time off to come to another 'agency party'?
We had to grab their attention with the very first touch point - the invitation.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
We started asking ourselves "What constitutes a traditional welcome in Kerala"? Soon we had the coconuts tumbling from the skies. Perfect! The coconut is very auspicious fruit in Kerala. It grows in abundance. Breaking of the coconut is symbolic of welcome and warding off evil.

The challenge was the printing on the surface. A young screen printer took it on. A few samples later, we knew we had a winner. The coconut is completely biodegradable; from outer husk to the inner shell. Coconut water is a health drink in itself. For the bag we used a very common, biodegradable shopping bag.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Hand delivered, these invitations soon became the talk of the town. Even the local media covered it. Some even came and interviewed us. We personally met the prospective clients and we got their attention immediately.

Total attendees = 200
4 clients have since called us in for meetings, and we're currently in advanced stages of their account moving to us. ( Names and details can be given on request)
