Describe the challenges and key objectives
The task was to create a logo and stationary that would reflect the nature, novelty and anticipation of this unique restaurant-concept.

Describe the brief from the client
Roeckl is an upscale restaurant with a modern ambience. Roeckl’s distinguishing feature is 12 trainee positions for underprivileged young adults, who work closely with the gastronomy professionals. Through the programme, the adolescents receive encouragement and support in overcoming adversity and finding a way into a professional life and career.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The logo’s “unfinished” look and the seemingly random typography represents the adolescents, still 'unfinished' and at the start of their careers. The black and white colour range and abandonment of any decorative elements emphasizes the restaurant's project-character.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The Roeckl restaurant in Munich has become a great success.
