Describe the brief from the client
The courier express service Ryska Posten was about to update the uniforms for their cyclists. The general impression was that the uniforms were lacking a clear profile. To make matters worse, many couriers even chose to work in their own clothing.

Describe the challenges and key objectives

We decided to create a complete collection, including accessories. We had the intention that the couriers should feel a stronger connection to Ryska Posten, yet with the feeling of individuality and freedom. It was also important to stand out from the competitors’ couriers who wear standardised bicycle wear.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The idea was to create something elegent, influenced by the aesthetics of classic bicycle racing, yet still with the emphasis on function and durability.
 
The base colour for the garments is black, featuring the accent colours, also found in the Ryska Posten design program, red, white and grey. We also designed a maglia rossa, a pink jersey, worn by the courier with most deliveries the current month. A hand-drawn script-logo was made as a complement to the original Ryska Posten logotype.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
A total of 17 garments were created, all uniquely made for Ryska Posten.
