Describe the challenges and key objectives
Business cards are wasteful: they use lots of ink and tons of paper. We invented a way to create business cards using no ink and no new paper.

Describe the brief from the client
As part of the Saatchi & Saatchi Blue Initiative, we were tasked with inventing a tool to help save the environment.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Introducing the Card Chopper: a pocket-sized device that re-purposes litter into business cards. Here’s how it works: 1) Place the litter on the tray. 2) Press down. 3) Remove your chopped business card.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
By re-purposing litter, the card chopper saves existing trees from becoming litter – and gives people a new way to leave their mark.
