Describe the brief from the client
Creating a Flagship store and re-define what a bank- insurance- and counseling office is. A bank that gives experiences, inspiration and solutions that are involving and welcoming.
The concept should help Skandiabanken to strenghten its position as an innovator. A pioneering and innovative centre that helps customers gain knowledge and confidence to make decisions.
The premisis should be scalable and easy to duplicate. It should be open, educational and engage to participation.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
The challenge where to create a new type of banking experience that is unique in the financial sector, 
inspired by retail rather than banking.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
We created a multi-functional space in Skandiabanken’s new branch in the centre of Stockholm where interactive technology encounters natural materials and creative design solutions. The basic elements are inspired by nature, innovation and Swedish design.
The branch can be used for different types of meetings. For example, on the first floor there is a room for workshops and a water dispenser when a break is needed. The premises can easily be transformed into a lecture hall. There is a “mini meeting place” where children can have fun. There is a dedicated space for self-service.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The result is an attractive, relaxed environment that, with the help of contemporary Scandinavian design, totally redefines client meetings within the financial sector.
The Bank office has received allot of attention in the press for its innovative solutions.
Skandiabanken’s new premises is situated at Kungsgatan 28 in Stockholm.
