Describe the brief from the client
One of the key influential groups to target was high-end club owners as the brand was launched around the world. They need something very unique and eye-catching to stop them in their tracks. The ‘conversation’ with the brand ambassadors can then start.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
Pitching a new product or brand to these Club owners is notoriously difficult. Ideally, they need something that cleverly captures the essence of the product or brand in an arresting manner. To only give them a memorable pack of the standard product would not be sufficient. So we needed to create a special limited edition for these special limited clients.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
To share the SOL brand in a powerful way, we created a hand-crafted black box to trigger dramatic anticipation. The black box, with contrasting yellow glow and red secure tag, provokes the curious to investigate further - Espiritu Libre. Inside, 3 limited edition bottles each convey a key facet of the SOL brand story: Sun, SOL name, History. The unconventional sun-inspired bottles are hand printed with silhouette decoration. A raw metal logo, evocative of 1899 in Mexico, rising on each neck. Simple, bold and valuable. A real collector’s item.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
To date none of the high-end Club owners have turned down an initial meeting with a SOL brand ambassador.
