Sonae´s new corporate identity builds up on the mutability of the brand. Formal innovation was required to address the reality of the brand, the leading distribution company in Portugal that is becoming an international player in the retail sector.

Sonae´s new corporate identity builds on the mutability of the brand. Therefore, each piece of its communication should reflect that inner condition.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The new corporate report reflects the mutability of the brand. The plastic shape upon the cover intends to convey the idea of expansion, using the circle language as the starting point for every graphic expression of the brand.
This continues on the inside, spreading the language to achieve coherence and maintain the notion of innovation and international quality standards as required.
