Describe the brief from the client
For their 100-year anniversary, the Swiss Bankers Association launched a campaign not focusing on the performance of banks, but celebrating (in a different kind and for once) all those people who contribute something to the welfare of Switzerland overall.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
15 young photographers were sent out to capture 100 people, representing the entire Swiss population in its diversity, portrayed in their everyday environment.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The focus is on individuals, to clearly present how different people can make so many things possible, daily. The result is this book with 100 portraits - in all a 100 ‘thank you's’ to 100 professionals, whom could not be more different, each from the next.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
All photographs will be exhibited at a gallery in Zurich. A film was shot and a ‘Thankomat’ - a specially modified photo booth - went on a road show across Switzerland, inviting people to record their message of gratitude. A website was also created - - where people could put up their own messages of thanks.
