Describe the brief from the client
We were briefed to create gadgets for 50 key clients of Taboo Company. Among expectations concerning final products there were: permanent usability, fun, and a nocturnal design, which can stimulate imagination and remind every night of the pleasures connected with Taboo condoms.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
Taking under consideration experience and knowledge of a target group, which saw everything that is connected with condom market, creating surprising and engaging gadgets was the greatest challenge.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
A 365 nights a year calendar was the first idea.

Then we extended “a 365 nights a year” idea to another elements and created three-pieces set, which reminds pleasures connected with using of Taboo condoms constantly. The set includes a wall calendar, a digital calendar and T-shirt calendar.

Each calendar is a multifunctional gadget, which is useful as a tool to measure the time, as a suggestion of a final stage of the date, a Kamasutra book. When the “night-marker” is being moved to a specific date it marks the present night and simultaneously suggests a sexual position for tonight.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
50 copies of limited edition set were produced for key clients of Taboo Company. Within a short time other Taboo clients, distributors and trade partners sent requests for extra copies (many people from advertising branches sent the same requests to us).
Moreover the calendars were well appreciated and became gadgets, which attracted almost everyone, who noticed it and caused enthusiastic reactions. Many people “tested” the wall calendar with joy, e.g. checking a suggestion of sexual position for their birthday. When it comes to a digital calendar – there were hundreds of downloads from the Taboo website and the profile on Facebook.
