Describe the brief from the client
Communicate Russia’s Christmas theme during the Christmas period. The target group is everyone of any age.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
The overall challenge was how to combine a Russian Christmas theme and still give it a Danish Christmas and Tivoli feel. In addition, how do we capture the attention of both kids and grownups.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The visual for the poster was made from all kinds of media like a collage to create a fantasy world with no boundaries.
We photographed real Tivoli elements, and kids as Father Christmas’s helpers, we mixed the photographs with different kinds of graphics to create a rich Christmas universe, communicating Tivoli.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The results went beyond expectations:
– Visitors in Christmas period went from 790,000 to 890,000 (index 112)
– Brand recognition has risen over 10.2%
