Describe the brief from the client
The wholesaler client produces private brand microbrew sake, which it gives to its employees and customers as a year-end gift.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
It is my aim to convey the client’s determination to contribute to regional revitalisation and reduction of environmental burden, and to provide the client with a new topic for dialogue with recipients of the sake.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The sake label converted to a charming message card. For the label, I use the paper handmade from a lot of the marc of processed apples, and people can write personalised messages on it. Typographical printing with much printing pressure is applied, contributing to cost reduction. Label design is based on an illustration of a well-known mountain and sakabayashi, a symbol of sake brewery.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
As small as these pieces were, I was successful in getting the attention of large numbers of customers and employees.
