Describe the challenges and key objectives
The design of a package for a worldwide patented product such as v-cubes was a challenge. The product itself is well produced and quite impressive. The product was hidden inside the old packaging. Our main goal was to show off the product and values.

Describe the brief from the client
Design a packaging for the v-cube series (v5, v6, v7 and v7 illusion). The packaging must protect the content (the cube) from damage during shipping. The pack should be ahead of the competition and also have a unique design. It is desired to use the “V” somewhere in the packaging from Verdes Innovation S.A.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The triangle was a very interesting shape. The difficult part was how we could make the cube stand inside, so a carton base had to be included in the packaging, but it also had to be from a single piece of carton in order to be used as a base for the cube when the pack will be opened. In the presentation of the triangle packaging and the other sample packaging, and while talking with the client, the idea of a flying cube inside the triangle pack came into discussion. There were a lot of ideas and thoughts how this would work. A plastic piece (vacuum) was the solution.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
While it's quite early to know the success of the outcome, the feedback we have from the client is an increase in sales now.
