Describe the challenges and key objectives
Because we are dealing with a collection of the same music style, we decided to create a uniform basic pattern for all the covers. That way the layout of the different elements (artist, title, reference number, credits etc) is always the same.

Describe the brief from the client
Vendetta Records is a sub-label of the Blanco y Negro record company, specialists in house music. Since this style quickly changes, Vendetta has to continually bring out new vinyl maxi-singles. From the graphics point of view this demands a flexible cover design at an economic price.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The proposed design is minimalist, clean and eye-catching using geometric lines. Despite its simplicity and use of few colors, it has satisfactorily managed to create a coherent image. MIGUEL PICASSO & ALEX GOMEZ. PROMISED LAND. Basing ourselves on the musical style, the concept for this cover was obvious: music wrapping closely around you. So we decided to imitate the texture of material wrapped around part of the record cover. R.I.O. The challenge of making an eclectic record is seen in the cover design here: its different influences are visible without losing the overall unity. The design shows various musical lines, clearly different, but which come together to make a uniform, new style.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
We made an extreme difference compared with our competitors since we developed design style that led the target audience towards our product. It also gave a chance for the artist to sell his record.
