Describe the challenges and key objectives
On 8/8/2008, at 8 am, 8 people bottled the first of 2008 numbered bottles. At the same time in Beijing was celebrating 3000 years of Olympic spirit. WINE 8 was born and with it the challenge: How to create a brand worthy of such inspiration?

Describe the brief from the client
To create a distinct packaging concept to a very distinct and exclusive wine, bottled once a year, to celebrate a universal event. In 2007 it was the world wonder celebration, and the wine was named 7. This year it was the Olympics, and the wine is named 8.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
From the land that made the wine, flies the praise for the bird´s nest, in a composition formally extending the mystical notion of eternity that the number holds. The lines that cross the space in harmony evoke the origin, the combed land of imaginary perfumed hills. And it is this origin that marks a personality of persistent continuity in a tribute to life and the ability of man to overcome and reinvent.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The 4004 bottles, at 108 €, are almost sold out by now.
