Describe the brief from the client
Promote 'Klara in de Singel', a big classical music event, organised by Klara, the classical radio station in Belgium, and held in 'De Singel' in Antwerp.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
Normally this event takes place in Brussels. This was the first year it took place in Antwerp. De Singel is a large-scale infrastructure. It comprises a medium-sized concert hall (966 seats), a large theatre for drama and dance (803 seats), an exhibition area, a music studio (150 seats) and a theatre studio (270 seats). So it was quite a challenge to make it a success.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Because the event was held in a different city, we also had to give it a different 'look and feel'. We chose for a very simple, clear and straightforward way to communicate. It showcased all musicians and artists using a combination of simple typography, on colourful backgrounds.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Within a few weeks, the event was completely sold out.
