How do you get seven science centres and museums on the road?

Describe the brief from the client
For four years, ’Knowledge Worlds’ has been helping the cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven to show how much they have to offer. There are seven participants: the Botanika, the Universum and the Ethnological Museum, the Coastal Zoo, the Maritime Museum, the Emigration Museum and the recently-opened Climate House. The question: How do you extend their range of influence and make the theme Science interesting for everyone who usually would not visit a museum.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The answer: With 5 bicycles and a van, the seven museums and knowledge centres reach out to the public. The mobile, modular 'Knowledge Worlds' exhibition extends their range of influence, and enables them to demonstrate the mysteries of science right there on site. In a matter of seconds, luggage racks and bicycle trailers convert into interactive exhibition stations that help you find out fast.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The tour exhibition motivated thousands of passersby to visit the 'Knowledge Worlds' of Bremen and Bremerhaven – and it is still successfully on the road.
