Describe the challenges and key objectives
The new website is to serve as a portfolio as well as to depict the particular work process of the company and the precision and quality of its products. It aims to reflect the manufacturer’s individual character and to create a base for further online marketing measures.

Describe the brief from the client
Create a website for Wiedemann Werkstätten corresponding with the company’s character and reflecting its claim to individually respond to customers’ needs.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The product surfaces themselves were inspiration for the website’s design: The website’s virtual haptics resemble the surfaces. Exemplary individual projects depict the company’s character. Custom-fit precision and quality are visualised in the areas “8 meters kitchen” and “concept and strategy”. The calm interactive behaviour of the website reflects quality.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The website redesign extends the existing corporate design in a media adequate manner and reflects the company’s identity. It improves information quality and reaches new target groups. Virtual appearance resembles real appearance of the Wiedemann products: design and functionality merge to a closed unit.
