Describe the brief from the client
WOWOW is one of the most famous cable TV stations in Japan. We were asked to advertise their first outdoor festival which includes live music performances, sport events, movie screenings.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
In order to maximize the impact of the festival, we made over 20 variations, about 200 posters total. Each poster messages different information, such as time and date, place, fee, live TV broadcast, exciting image, scale of the event, and so on. Also, to appeal broad generations, we used different expressions such as illustration, photo, art, typography, symbol, to each poster. Then we symbolically used the rainbow icon of the festival to bond each poster.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The number of visitors reached over 10,000 people, which was a great success. The success of the WOWFES! energised the WOWOW brand.
