Describe the challenges and key objectives
The central creative idea was to focus on an entirely eco-friendly approach. Moreover, the main objective was to develop a comprehensive system of packaging and merchandising for a high-tech product with a revolutionary design. Indeed, we sought to combine Parrot’s innovative approach with the way of creative thinking of Philippe Starck.

Describe the brief from the client
Parrot is a leading brand in wireless peripherals for mobile phones and wanted to develop an original packaging concept for their new wireless speakerphones elaborated by acclaimed designer Philippe Starck.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The final design came up with an ultra-compact packaging that is both theatrical and elegant, mixing in an element of humor visible in the basic blister pack features and shapes reminiscent of the classic bulging cases used for musical instruments. Playful and chic, the packaging remains firm in its vision of eco-friendly design by using a single material that is ultra-compact and 100% recyclable, and they interlock on their pallets during the transport, helping reduce the company's carbon footprint.

Zikmu enjoyed a very good press coverage even before reaching market.
