In Austria it’s a tradition at Christmas that children dressed up as the Three Wise Men go from house to house singing carols – not always to the delight of those being visited.
So Gaulhofer used this tradition to promote its soundproof windows and sent its customers and business partners a Christmas card with an integrated sound chip. If the window on the card was opened, you heard the three little wise men enthusiastically singing a Christmas carol badly and out of tune.
But if you closed the window, you could enjoy a peaceful and quiet Christmas.
