The store didn‘t have to wait long for the first runners to arrive, and not only did Pitsch receive a large quantity of running shoes, but they also sold 250% more during the campaign than in the same period the previous year.

Execution
Wear out your shoes and then still get money for them – an innovative idea. The personalized shoe bag also increased involvement and triggered responses accordingly.

Implementation
Existing customers were sent a personalized shoe bag with an invitation to put their worn-out running shoes in it, sprint to Pitsch Sport and claim a scrapping bonus of 5 Swiss francs for them. Of course, the customers were allowed to keep their personal shoe bag with their name on.

Client Brief Or Objective
During the long summer holidays, business was pretty slow for the running specialists Pitsch Sport in the small town of Gossau. In order to counteract the summer slow-down, a campaign had to be launched to bring customers into the store.
