Describe the brief/objective of the direct campaign.
Alcatel-Lucent provides communication solutions to companies all over the world. In 2011, they launch a new software package that enables you to participate in a virtual meeting. The interface will be far more developed & professional than Skype or any existing video conferencing.

Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective with reference to the projected response rates and desired outcome.
Using this new technology, you find yourself in a virtual meeting room, no matter where you are. That’s why we designed a ‘portable meeting room’: a foldable sunscreen for your laptop with the interior of a real meeting space, complete with flipchart, clock, cupboards and a ceiling. The Portable Meeting Rooms were sent as a direct mailing to influential technology bloggers, inviting them to watch an online preview of the product.

Explain why the creative execution was relevant to the product or service.
From now you will be able to meet anywhere, anytime.

Describe the results in as much detail as possible with particular reference to the RESPONSE of the target audience including deliverability statistics, response rates, click throughs, sales cost per response, relationships built and overall return on investment.
Redemption was 100%: all of the bloggers visited the website and are now aware of the upcoming release of the product.
