Synopsis:
I wanted a job in Stockholm. But being a junior creative from another country without any connections, it's hard to get Creative Directors to make time for you. So I decided to become someone who all Creative Directors have time for - a new client.
I sent mails to all my favourite Swedish ad agencies, pretending to be a danish company called EMERIH (HIRE ME spelled backwards) looking for a new lead agency in Stockholm.
At the end of the mail, I asked for the Creative Directors to have a look at our 'company' website, emerih.co, to get a better understanding of the business. The ones who clicked on the link were taken to the website, where the stunt was revealed.
Within a week I had a fully booked calendar, 75000+ page views and job offers from 5 different countries. But most importantly, I got a job in Stockholm!
