The Kia Techatlete Games are a tongue-in-cheek test of tech talent where players compete in a series of games to prove that they’re worthy of the Forte. Unlike athletes of the past, who were stuck with boring old apparatus like the discus and shot put, today’s Techathletes get to prove their mettle on more contemporary contraptions: the webcam, the mic, the smartphone, the mouse and the keyboard.
There are [five games in total](https://apps.facebook.com/techathlete-games/): Type-Wondo, Gymnas-Clicks, 100m Headles, Sla-La-La-Lom, and Gy-Row-Scope. Each game requires the player to use a different device to play, and highlights a different feature of the Forte.  Sla-La-La-Lom, for example, requires players to activate their mic and use their voice to steer their way down a ski slope, and highlights the car’s voice-controlled navigation system.  In Gy-Row-Scope, players sync their smartphones to their computers in order to row their way down a river, which underlines the Forte’s ability to sync to your phone to steam music.
In addition to the unparalleled glory of scoring points and appearing on the Techathlete Games leaderboard, three players a week win themselves tech prizes, including an Xbox Kinect, Go-Pro Camera, Nike Fuel Band and Beats by Dre headphones.
All of this amounts to an interactive, immersive and highly entertaining gaming experience that draws people in and gets them interacting with the Kia Forte in a fun, new way.
