"Inspire families to read together in a world where technology and distance are getting in the way of traditional storytime and generate word of mouth around Penguin’s children’s books. Idea:Transform a story that has been told for over 150 years into a modern, interactive experience.Storytime Hangout is a place where people become the characters and stories come to life. Masks are augmented onto participants’ faces using Google+ Hangouts. The app/Storytime Hangout allows multiple participants, so the whole family can join in, no matter where they are in the world. Bringing families together for a storytime like no other."
