When customers bought a shake and hot dog they received a free Shake ânâ Dog bobble head toy and were introduced to the national competition where they could win a yearâs supply of Wendyâs ice cream. All they had to do was play the app or flash game and post their highest score onto the national microsite created through Jamshop, Adelaide . At the end of the competition the top dog with the highest score won. Over 60,000 downloads and 27,000 challenged a friend. The game was played 300,000 times in that period. Over 16,000 entered the competition and the app game peaked at number 3 in the top 200 free Australian entertainment apps. The game was also shared with friends via Face book, tweeting and other social networks.
