When American Eagle Outfitters debuted their flagship store in Times Square, NYC, they asked us to create a cool retail experience for their new massive exterior digital sign and to bring shoppers off the streets and into the store in one of the busiest and vibrant urban centers in the world. The result was “15 Seconds of Fame,” a digital experience that gives anyone who visits the Times Square store a chance to be famous. After a purchase, a guest is invited to a mini photo studio. Moments later, the guest’s photo and personal message are projected onto the 25-story-high, 15,000-square-feet of digital signage for all of Times Square to see. “15 Seconds of Fame” is a fitting reflection of everyday people living their lives and experiencing a brief but sweet taste of fame.
