Description of Ambient execution
Greenpeace created a outdoor display using fish-shaped kites flown at a height of 10 metres above current sea levels, to demonstrate the height to which the oceans will rise to if we do nothing about climate change. A Bluetooth zone directed the public to a mobisite (website for mobile phones) that featured a dally news broadcast from the year 2100, to give people a glimpse of our future if we don’t act on climate change. Greenpeace volunteers answered questions and encouraged people to sign a petition to get South African President Jacob Zuma to attend the Copenhagen Conference in person. The “Flying Fish” travelled the country a month before the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference, described as “our planet’s last chance”.
