Valentine’s day is a date impossible to avoid for beer drinkers. They have to find useless gifts for girlfriends and go out for romantic dinners drinking wine and champagne: everything but the beer. To transform this frightening date into an happy occasion for Heineken’s consumers too, we created an irresistible new gift for her that makes him happy too: the first beer flavoured lip gloss. In this way Heineken offered beer drinkers the most entertaining brand experience for Valentine's day: a real long delightful beer taste on the mouth. On February 14th we distributed 15.000 Beer Gloss for free, where our target was supposed to spend the hard date: in pubs and restaurants, in universities and in many stores.
