English Translation of Main Headlines
Kyoto is one of the most historic cities in Japan, where streets are lined with Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines blending in with the beautiful natural scenery cultivated by its 1,200 year-old history. However, the city of Kyoto is currently facing a crisis, losing much of its historical and cultural appeal due to the rapid rise of urbanization and modernization. This issue has to be addressed at a national level. We have created this poster with the theme “We are proud to have KYOTO in Japan,” in order to promote the idea of “revitalization of Kyoto as a national strategy.”
