Description of Ambient execution
From the same producers of Band of Brothers, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, The Pacific is the new miniseries from HBO. Based on real stories, The Pacific shows the point of view of 3 soldiers who had their lives altered by World War II. In order to activate the launching of the show and involve Brazilians in the drama lived by each soldier in the horrific battles of the war in the Pacific, we prepared an action in bookstores in São Paulo. Several life-size soldiers were made and strategically hidden between the store’s bookshelves. Each soldier had a sound system that allowed visitors to put on headphones and hear the soldier tell, in first person, the emotions they experienced in face of the cruelty of war.
