Virgin Trains provides the fastest and most frequent trains between Birmingham and London. However, when challenged by a competitor's revamped service, we flew into action.

We went beyond the practical advantage of knocking a few minutes off their business travel and looked for something truly compelling. We found it in the 1950s. The time of Mad Men and Pan Am - a golden era for commercial air travel.

Showing high-speed Pendolino trains hurtling past clouds in Red Arrows formation, we tapped into something altogether more glamorous and urged business executives to ‘Fly Virgin Trains’.
