The worldsteel association have created the #lovesteel project, which provides engaging and shareable social media content showcasing steel’s vital importance in modern society. They have launched various campaigns looking at steel’s use in specific areas, this ranges from steel in the sea, home, rail and renewables.
The newest campaign focuses on Steel and Sport. This campaign looks at steel’s crucial role in enabling and improving the performance of sporting competitors and athletes, as well as ensuring the safety, attendance and enjoyment of supporters across the world.
This campaign creates assets on steel’s uses in 4 different sporting areas, the Winter Games, the World Cup, the Summer and Parallel Games and Motorsport. Per area, they have produced a short animation, an infographic and shareable assets for social use. The newest assets highlights steel’s vital role in the World Cup.
