What good are the best offers if you do not know anything about them? With the new app from McDonald's you always have everything on the screen: Current promotions, competitions, events, discount campaigns and - last but not least - the fastest way to the nearest McDonald's restaurant.
TBWA \ Zurich created an integrated campaign for McDonald's with posters, online spots and other advertising material such as print advertisements and mobile ads. The highlight: for the first time worldwide, McDonald's products are displayed in the iconic design of an app. Short online spots bring the advantages of the app humorously to the point. As a one-time push on the day of launch, McDonald's rewarded every download with a Big Mac for only $ 1.90.
Already in the first week, the app reached over 85,000 downloads and brought it to number 1 in the App Store Switzerland and the Google Play Store Switzerland.
