To celebrate the holidays, AKQA teamed up with members of the Pacific Chamber Symphony, and Music Director Laurence Kohl, to create an interactive mobile orchestra that turns phones into musicians. Groups of friends can sync their mobile devices to play a rendition of "Carol of the Bells". Each phone is assigned one 12 musiciansâfrom the conductor, to the cellist, to the harpist and when the symphony begins, the phones play together in harmony.
