Brief Explanation
Donate dot com, or #donatedotcom, was an initiative to make Japan earthquake and tsunami relief more widespread.

The idea was simple: you donate your dot com, i.e. your site. Instead of showing your regular content, a big red button containing a link to donating to the Red Cross through iTunes was placed over your site, as an overlay.
