After he died and was buried, he miraculously came back to life.Since his resurrection he appeared to his disciples. Yet, Thomas, one of the disciples, did not believe that Jesus had risen, until he personally saw him. Then he said to Thomas, "Put out your finger, and see my hands; and put your hand here into my side: and be no longer in doubt but have belief."

As we look at the penetrated hands, we come to fully understand the true identity of Christianity. I made this work with hope that someday we could meet Jesus, who extended his hand to Thomas, his disciple, 2000 years ago.
