WE CREATED A STUDENT MENU WITH PRICES ADAPTING TO STUDENTS’ ECONOMY WEEK BY WEEK. THE ADS DESCRIBED THE EMOTIONAL STATE OF EACH WEEK.

We wanted to show that McDonald’s understands what it’s like to be a student. So we invented The Student Loan Menu. The price was at its highest the 25th of each month, when the students had just received their monthly student loan, and gradually got cheaper each week. The advertising was also adapted to each week, describing the present state, from being made of money to scrounging friends’ sofas for loose change.
