This tactical ad from Bester Burke Slingers Cape Town was made as a reaction to local politician Julius Malema's now infamous racial slurs of "Kill the Boere" - which is roughly translated to :"Kill the Afrikaaner". We used the media hype to promote a local butcher shop by changing the headline to something a bit more appropriate. Tara Butchery also used the opportunity to link themselves with National Braai Day. (note : 'Boerewors' is the South African term for sausage.)
