English Synopsis
Parallel Lines: five directors from Ridley Scott Associates each produced an entirely different short film, based on the exact same six lines of dialogue. These are original films, commissioned specifically for the web. The heart of the website is the 21:9 widescreen HD player that allows movie lovers to experience the films in the most cinematic way. Engaging interactive features - including multiple points-of-view; sound effects; slow motion and parallel sub-films – demonstrate the cinematic capabilities of Philips TVs. As the line goes: ‘There are millions of ways to tell a story, there’s only one way to watch one.’
