English Synopsis
Ocean Recon was developed to provide a realistic representation of the tasks carried out by submariners, with an end aim to drive new Navy recruits. We built the site around 4 main missions which present as interactive videos to help users learn about life and work on a Submarine. On completion you receive your Dolphins, a Submariner qualification badge. The Navy were consulted closely over this year long production making the site as accurate & realistic as possible. Navy plans were used to model the Submarine, then combined with footage, illustration, 3D environments, voice audio & games elements.
