Insights, Strategy & the Idea
Allomusic is a Web portal specialising in streaming and musical information. Its goal is to be as general as possible.
Free of charge, offering EVERY different kind of music, and covering what's new on the music scene without any constraints, its audience is mixed and spans a wide generational range.
Proposing a very wide offer on the Web, it was imperative to create a viral film which could bring together all
audiences. The idea which appeared most pertinent was to play on an improbable gap between an artist and his usual public.
The result is a series of films in which the audience finds their way either by the artist or fan.

Creative Execution
The strategy of this campaign is based on this gap. Allomusic is a portal reuniting services generally broken down into several specialised websites. Reuniting all audiences signifies bringing together all different kinds of music and information.
The merger of opposite horizons led to the choice of a cast of French stars of highly varied styles.
The film confronts them with the very opposite of the "cliché" of their fans. Thus every spot focuses on a highly mixed clientele, thus the Web Allomusic campaign plays the "all terrain" card.
